Terms and Conditions – Cornerstone Building Surveyors

By submitting a quote request form to Cornerstone Building Surveyors, you acknowledge that this does not constitute a confirmed booking or engagement of our services. The form is used solely to provide us with initial information to assess your enquiry and prepare a quotation where appropriate.

Submission of the form does not obligate Cornerstone Building Surveyors to proceed with any work. We reserve the right to decline any request at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. If we decide to move forward with your request, we will contact you via email to confirm our engagement and provide further instructions regarding the next steps.

No services will be provided until written confirmation is issued by Cornerstone Building Surveyors. No engagement exists and no services are supplied before that confirmation, so if you act ahead of it — ordering a kit, booking a slab pour, setting a start date — you are doing it on your own account, because we are not yet acting on the project.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or changed.

It is your responsibility to ensure all information submitted in the quote form is complete and accurate. Any errors or omissions may result in delays or affect the accuracy of our quote.

We update these terms when what we do changes. A change takes effect when it is published on this website, and the terms of use page carries the date so you can see which version you are reading. Changes do not apply backwards: a quote we have already given you, or an engagement already confirmed in writing, runs on the terms that applied when it was given.
